"Can the Global South Speak? A South Asian Tryst with Translation Studies"
Dr Rindon Kundu has been working as the Assistant Professor of English at the Faculty of Arts, Communication and Indic Studies, Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha, since December 2019. Since May 2021, he has been functioning as the Founder Director of Sri Sri Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies, Sri Sri University, India. He was elected as the Treasurer of the Comparative Literature Association of India (CLAI) in 2019 and has been working as an office bearer since then. He was nominated as the South Asian Regional Director of the International Association of Eco-Translation Research (IAETR). Recently, he has been elected as a Steering Committee member of the Leadership Group of the International Comparative Literature Association Translation Committee (ICLA) from 2023 to 2026. He has been awarded several international grants including the International Association of Translation and Intercultural Studies 2018 Hong Kong Bursary, the British Academy Full Grant 2019 and the European Society for Translation Studies Young Researcher Travel Grant 2019.
